Seriously considering chopping off more hair. I’m lazy, it’s easier. And it would look fine. And if it doesn’t, it would grow out again.
Reading your thoughts on Kony 2012 is interesting, so do you think it would be a good...
I’m surprised to see people so bummed and dejected about the negative data on Invisible Children Inc. Regardless of whether or not you support...
So the first day, i got a strange numbness in my throat. It made me want to gag, for some reason. I figured it was either one of those side effects that go away, or you just get used to. By the third dose, however, i figured out that it wasn’t a numbness in my throat, but a tightness. It became hard to swallow and to talk. My words were coming out in slurs and i found certain letters where all but impossible to say.
I tried again today, hoping it was one of those “it gets worse before it gets better,” but only one dose today made my throat feel so tight. It was terribly hard to swallow. My words were mumbled together, and my lower lip and chin area kept twitching and pulling in small increments. Nothing visible to the naked eye, yet, but if you put your hand on my chin, you could feel the pulses. It was weird.
We were at Nordstrom’s looking at new Tom’s for me since my old one’s have got to go. I found one’s i liked and asked the sales associate for a 6 1/2. actually i tried to say it. All that came out was, “Ca i try these i a ssssisss ad a hafff?” The guy nodded and ran off for the shoes, so i hope he just thinks it was too loud to hear me right. I was embaressed either way. The couple next to me certainly heard my slurs, but my mom popped up before they could stare any longer.
After about 2 hours the tightness finally receded and i was able to speak without sounding like i had a speech impediment. Though this disease has given me a new found understanding towards people like that. My mom and i decided it was a good idea to stop the meds and to call the doctor on monday to see what he recommends we do. Anyway, a good day overall today. Got 2 new shoes to replace 3 pairs of shoes that have become far too stinky for daily wear. Gross, i know. But stinky shoes are always the comfiest :P Ah well, all’s good. :)
